Live music doesn't have to be quality to be "Good"

This is possibly the most disheartening scientific research I have ever heard.  According to this new Synthtopia post, the quality of music in a live performance plays almost no part in whether or not the audience perceives it as good or bad.  Citing a recent scientific research study, Synthtopia says that the audience relies much more heavily on visual stimuli to deduce opinions about live performances.  Could this be the reason Pop music has become the monster that it is?  All smoke and mirrors and no substance?  Sound off in the comments and check out the original Synthtopia piece HERE.
