Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion formed their rising indie pop band Cults in 2010 when they were still in school in Manhattan, NY. Cults is noted for their signature energetic, xylophone heavy, anthems, that are at once dreamy and driving. The pair first reached notoriety for their 3 song EP "Cults 7" after releasing it on their Bandcamp page. They have earned multiple "Best New Music" titles from the popular Pitchfork Media for songs such as "Go Outside" and "Abducted". You can catch these rising stars performing live tonight (7/26/13) at Wicker Park Fest at 8:45 p.m. on the South Stage. The festival is located at Milwaukee and Damen and will host several other artists as well. Go to the festivals website for more info.
